Dr. Kandah

Academic & Scientific Contributions

Dr. Kandah has a distinguished record in terms of academic and scientific contributions represented in giving lectures on monetary policies, privatization and other economic, banking and financial issues.

In 1998, Dr. Qandah gave educational lectures in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, in addition to Yarmouk University, while giving several lectures to the staff of the State Audit Bureau during the period between 1996 and 1999.

The parties that Dr. Qandah cooperated with in this context also included the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute during the period 2000 and 2015

Unremitting efforts to enhance knowledge

In addition to the aforementioned series of lectures, Dr. Kandah joined specialized training courses to enhance his knowledge, including the “Training of Trainers Course in the General Program on Development Planning” organized by the Arab Planning Institute, in 1993 in Kuwait, and the “Symposium on Telecommunication Policy and Regulation”, organized by the Adam Institute Smith in the United Kingdom, jointly with Price Waterhouse and the Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, in 1997, and in the same year he joined the “privatization” course, organized by the Institute of Banking Studies in Jordan. By the year 2000 he joined the “Trade Policy” course, organized by the Islamic Development Bank in cooperation with the World Trade Organization in Qatar.

In addition, Dr. Kandah worked as a lecturer in a number of the most prominent scientific and academic edifices in Jordan and the world as follows:

1988-1990

Research and teaching assistant during his military service during the period 1988-1990 in the Department of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Mutah University

2002-2003

Part-time Assistant Professor at Qatar University for the academic year 2002-2003, during which he presented the Mathematics course for Finance and Insurance

2004-2005

Part-time assistant professor at the University of Jordan through two courses that included international finance for master’s and doctoral degrees in 2005, and principles of microeconomics for undergraduate students during the academic year 2004-2005

2008

Part-time assistant professor at the Institute of Banking Studies in Jordan in 2008, during which he presented a course on Macroeconomics and Industry Analysis

2010-2011

Part-time assistant professor at Al-Zaytoonah University during the 2010-2011 academic year, during which he presented an Introduction to International Business and Trade course

2019, 2020 and 2021

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation, in which he offered three master’s degree courses: Introduction to Finance, International Business and Financial Management in 2019, 2020 and 2021

2001

Part-time assistant professor at the Jordanian Institute of Diplomacy for many years, during which he presented a number of courses, including: the international economics course for master’s students in 2001, and the Jordanian economic diplomacy and economics course for diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the years 2000 to 2015

Part-time Assistant Professor with the University of Wales and Qatar Institute for Banking Training during the years 2003 and 2004, during which he taught two English-language courses, namely Principles of Macro and Microeconomics

2005-2006

Part-time assistant professor at the University of Jordan during the 2005-2006 academic year, during which he studied the Financial Economics course for undergraduate students

2010-2011

Part-time Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan during the 2010-2011 academic year, during which he taught the Administrative Economics course for undergraduate students
